Presenting with Purpose: Levels 1-5
Successful businesses rely on presentations—both internal and external—for much of their communication. Unfortunately, far too often such presentations fail to connect to audiences or convince them to act upon a given message, which ultimately leads to audiences tuning out within minutes. As a result, the goal of persuading others to make decisions or be positively influenced by these presentations falls flat.
The Presenting with Purpose programs help solve that problem, ensuring that presenters have at their fingertips the tools needed to create purposeful presentations that engage audiences and positively influence them toward any given message. These energetic, interactive workshops are designed to significantly increase the persuasiveness and effectiveness of presentations. From Level 1 to 5, this workshop sequence is designed to be progressive in its depth and complexity, offering participants a purposeful developmental path as they improve upon their skills at presenting.
PERSUADING WITH PRESENTATIONS
PRESENTING WITH PURPOSE—LEVEL 1
The first of the “Presenting with Purpose” series workshops focuses on training participants in the theories and practices behind effective and persuasive presentations. Classical rhetoric, neurological research, and contemporary communication theory guides us as we look to create purposeful presentations that effectively communicate a focused message to our audiences.

PERSUADING WITH PROSE
PRESENTING WITH PURPOSE—LEVEL 2
The second level of PWP builds upon the principles covered in Level 1, but provides more attention to the art (and science) of written composition. In this workshop, we focus on developing a purposeful, persuasive, and effective style as writers in the business world, whether we are composing an email, crafting high-stakes marketing campaigns, or creating PowerPoint slides for internal and external value propositions.
PERSUADING WITH PRESENTATIONS II
PRESENTING WITH PURPOSE—LEVEL 3
The third level of PWP thoughtfully pulls together the principles participants have learned regarding the application of persuasive theory, organizational techniques, purposeful style, and meaningful content creation, all of which are covered in the first two workshops. Interactive exercises offer participants the chance to put these principles into practice in an environment that allows for immediate and productive feedback from the facilitator and each other.

PERSUASIVE SPEAKING AND PRESENTING
PRESENTING WITH PURPOSE—LEVEL 4
No matter how well designed a presentation is, the presenter is ultimately responsible for its success. When we pair ourselves with multimedia elements, we offer our audience the best of both worlds—the personal and the technical. To that end, the focus here is on successful principles and techniques for effective and persuasive speaking, as it specifically pertains to multimedia presentation.
CREATING POWERFUL MULTIMEDIA AND INTERACTIVE PRESENTATIONS
PRESENTING WITH PURPOSE—LEVEL 5
This workshop takes a close look at purposeful audio and video integration in PowerPoint and the manner in which it can add to the persuasiveness of our presentations, as well as how we can benefit from incorporating interactive elements into our presentations. To that end, we first examine principles and strategies for choosing audio and video elements (what kind to choose, and why and when to use them), as well as various techniques for smoothly and seamlessly incorporating audio and video into a presentation
